Every
year one student is chosen for a one-year dance
scholarship at Smooth Steps Dance Studio This year
the dancer of the year for 2008-2009 is Adrienne
Howells.
Adrienne is 14 years old and attends
Clio HIgh School She has just completed her Freshman
year.Adrienne demonstrates such leadership when
she is dancing and teaching.
She has a promising future as
a dance teacher with her leadership capabilities.
She is an excellent role model and goes above and
beyond each week. Adrienne never hesitates to take
extra time to help her peers if they need help.
Adrienne attends numerous
workshops in addition to her regular dance classes
to continue to improve her technique. Adrienne has
the drive that makes her this years Dancer of the
Year.
Teachers
certified in Cecchetti Ballet with a bachelor's in Elementary Education, Dance
& Fine Arts and Business.
